  • Racing Magpie 406 5th Street Rapid City, SD, 57701 United States (map)

Welcome back the school year with one-of-a-kind gifts from local artists. Come visit Racing Magpie to listen to local musicians, see modern Native art, buy tickets to world-class theater, and see where award-winning local artists create their artwork!

Racing Magpie will be open late from 5-8pm to showcase its modern Native art gallery and the dozen artists who have studios in the building. Come enjoy our beautiful Native art and the studios of Native and non-Native artists. Find amazing gifts for families and friends!

This month we'll have two amazing events held by Bird Cage Book Store and Mercantile during our open studios: a Book Signing and Reading and a Book Discussion.

Art forms represented through the studio artists include traditional Lakota breastplates, screenprinting, painting, photography, printmaking, and ledger art. Come visit this new Rapid City arts location in a beautiful historic building and support just a few of the amazing artists who call Rapid City and the Black Hills home.

We will have appetizers and drinks for your enjoyment as well.
